2010 FFPC League Commissioner
We are very excited to present the league commissioner product which will be powering the FFPC going forward, starting in 2010. It took some time to finalize this partnership as we wanted to make sure the FFPC was in the right hands and most importantly, to be sure our players were happy with the decision. And I think you will be.
The new league commissioner product for the FFPC is: RealTime Fantasy Sports.
RTSports is heading into its 16th year of providing top notch commissioner services. The have a record of proven reliability, as many of us are familiar with their software.
When we first contacted the guys at RTSports, we immediately voiced the concerns that HSFF players have had with the specific area of their product in the past: the blind bidding interface. We expressed that the FFPC players must have the flexibility of a blind bidding system which allows them to implement various bidding strategies which are so important in HSFF team management. Tim and Mark from RTSports understood this clearly and have committed to build a brand new blind bidding interface for the FFPC which will allow for multiple bidding groups. This new interface will also allow FFPC owners to prioritize bids by order and not by bid amount. In addition, as the FFPC has done in 2008 & 2009, all bids will be made public after the conclusion of the weekly blind bidding run, which allows for maximum transparency.
In addition to the new blind bidding interface, RTSports has agreed to build a Victory Points standings program for the FFPC, which they have not offered previously. RTSports will allow VPs to be an exclusive feature of the FFPC and will not offer VPs to any other HSFF contest it hosts. In turn, Victory Points will be made available as a new feature for individual commissioned leagues purchased from RTSports.
Our next major area of concern was online live drafting software. This is an area that RTSports excels in as their draft room is easy to use and dependable. RTSports also provides live-commissioned drafts as an option, which was another important point for us.
Overall, with RTSports, FFPC will have the ability to continue offering the entire line of our leagues and contests in the same format that we have offered them in the past. RTSports are committed to helping us make a seamless transition to their commissioner product and we are committed making sure FFPC players are completely satisfied with this new platform.
