Just as we did in 2008 and 2009, for the upcoming 2010 season, the ENTIRE Main Event prize money will continue to be placed and held in Mr. Yaros' attorney escrow account throughout the duration of the season and will not be accessed by ForPlayers-ByPlayers, LLC. for any reason. At the conclusion of the season, checks will be drawn directly from these funds and sent to all prize winners by January 10th, 2011.

Playa4LIFE - a Supplemental Contest to the FFPC Main Event
The Short Version:
1. Play the 2010 FFPC Main Event.
2. Play FFPC Playa4LIFE for $99.95.
3. Outscore all the other Main Event teams during the 16 week fantasy season.
The FFPC Playa4LIFE contest is a game of skill.This contest will test a participant's ability to predict player performance both over time and on a weekly basis, as well as to value certain players and positions within the framework of our scoring system, place appropriate bids on free agents based on the relative future value to the entrant's team, and create a balanced fantasy team that will maximize scoring output over the length of the season.
Entrance fee:The entry fee for the FFPC Playa4LIFE contest is $99.95.
Winner:This competition uses the 2010 FFPC Main Event to determine the highest scoring team for the 2010 fantasy football season.The FFPC Main Event team which finishes with the most points scored during NFL Weeks 1 through 16 that has also entered the FFPC Playa4LIFE competition will be the Playa4LIFE winner. The winning team must outscore ALL other Main Event teams during Weeks 1-16, not just other Playa4LIFE entries. The winner will be awarded FREE LIFETIME* entries into the FFPC Main Event starting in 2011.
Playa4LIFE Leaderboard: An Overall Leaderboard will be created, showing the cumulative point total for each FFPC Main Event team during Weeks 1-16 as well as indicating Playa4LIFE entries. The 2009 Playa4LIFE Leaderboard can be seen here.
No Winner:In the event that the 2010 FFPC Main Event's highest scoring team throughout Weeks 1-16 did not enter the FFPC Playa4LIFE competition, there will be no winner for 2010. In this case, the top 3 scoring Playa4LIFE teams will win free entry into the 2011 Playa4LIFE contest, provided they have entered in the 2011 FFPC Main Event.
Eligibility:The FFPC Playa4LIFE is an optional contest and is open to all Main Event teams, whether drafted Live or Online. Players who own multiple Main Event teams may purchase entries into the Playa4LIFE contest for each of these teams. Maximum of one entry per team.
Minimum FFPC Playa4LIFE entries:A minimum of one FFPC Playa4LIFE entry must be reached for the contest to become active for 2010.
Annuity Option:FFPC Playa4LIFE contest winner will receive free FFPC Main Event entries for a period of 20 years, starting in 2011 and continuing through 2030. These free entries MUST be used in each of the 20 consecutive FFPC Main Event seasons.
Cash Option: FFPC Playa4LIFE contest winner may elect to take a $5,000 cash payout in lieu of free future FFPC Main Event entries. Cash option becomes void after the start of the 2011 FFPC season with the exception of an Ownership Change as described below.
Ownership Change: In the event that the FFPC is acquired by new ownership, the FFPC Playa4LIFE award will either be A) transferred to and be honored by the new ownership or B) the winner will receive a cash payout worth 50% of the value of the remaining, unused free entries. The value will be calculated based on price of the entry fee at that time. In the event that the 50% cash payout is executed, the remaining free entries become void. The decision to transfer the award to the new ownership or to exercise the payout will be solely made by For Players - By Players, LLC.
Transfer of Ownership: FFPC Playa4LIFE can only be used by the original, official winner for the duration of the award. Under no circumstance can the FFPC Playa4LIFE be transferred to any other party without expressed written consent of For Players - By Players, LLC.
Main Event Entry Value: The value of the Main Event entry is equal to the current year's base entry fee, and does not include any Live event fees or additional contests.Any future price increases into the FFPC Main Event will not have any effect on the FFPC Playa4LIFE winner.
Tie: In the event that two or more teams are tied in total points scored at the conclusion of Week 16, the Playa4LIFE award will be split evenly among these teams. Example: If 2 teams are tied, they will each get 10 years of Playa4LIFE free entries into the FFPC Main Event
The FFPC Playa4LIFE competition and its prize winners are governed by all rules and regulations of the FFPC Main Event and For Players - By Players LLC. Winners agree to abide by these rules for the duration of the FFPC Playa4LIFE award. For Players - By Players LLC reserves the right to ammend the rules of the FFPC Playa4LIFE contest.
*The terms LIFE and LIFETIME used in the FFPC Playa4LIFE rules is equal to a maximum of 20 years or 20 FFPC Main Event contests.
In many Midwestern states, a LIFE sentence is 20 years, and that is how long we will give away free teams to the winner.Sure, it is misleading to call it a LIFETIME prize when it is only 20 years; that is why we have the asterisk, gosh darn it!That is all part of the gimmick!
