FFPC has again teamed up with Darren Armani of FantasyMojo.com to bring you:
The 2nd Annual 2010 FFPC Pros vs Joes Draft Challenge!!
The FFPC Pros vs Joes
Draft Challenge is back for 2010. The concept is simple. Take a group of hard core FFPC
fantasy players (the Joes) and pit them against a contingent of fantasy
industry experts (the Pros).
We will have 96 teams
participating (half Pros and half Joes). The overall field is divided
into separate leagues of 12 with each conducting its own
draft. Each league is comprised of 6 Pros and 6 Joes. Each league will have a winner determined after 16 weeks.
The highest scoring team across all divisions is crowned the 2010 FFPC
Pros vs Joes Draft Challenge Champion.
The Pros vs Joes leagues will be held in a FFPC Draft Experts format which is
essentially a 'best ball' league where the system automatically fills
out your weekly roster with your best performing players at each
position. No waiver wire moves or setting of lineups is required during the year. Once you draft your team of 26 players, your
administrative duties are done for the year. Just monitor the standings
as the year goes on.
For complete information on the 2010 Pros vs Joes Challenge, please see the FFPC message boards or the Pros vs Joes pages on Fantaso Mojo.com.

The 2009 FFPC Pros vs Joes Draft Challenge concept is simple. Take a group of hard core FFPC fantasy players (the Joes) and pit them against a contingent of fantasy industry experts (the Pros).
We will have 72 teams participating (half pros and half Joes). The overall field is divided into separate 'Divisions'. Each division of 12 conducts their own draft. All teams drafted are tossed into one master league to compete. The highest scoring team across all divisions is crowned the 2009 FFPC Pros vs Joes Draft Challenge Champion.
The scoring system is of course the signature FFPC scoring. It's a Draft Experts format which is essentially a "Best Ball" league where the system automatically fills out your weekly roster with your best performing players at each position. No waiver wire moves or setting of lineups by the participants. Once you draft your team of 26 players, your administrative duties are done for the year. Just monitor the standings as the year goes on.

6 - FantasyMojo.com has recruited a trophy sponsor to award our overall winner this sweet silver cup trophy (a $169 value) courtesy of FantasyTrophy.com
7 - One of the Joes - John Duckworth, aka The Yellow Line is Unofficial - will buy an entry into a 2010 FFPC 77 for any Pro that wins the overall challenge.
8 - FantasyFootballWhiz.com will offer a free RapidDraft entry in 2010 to any Joe that wins any one of the leagues.
9 - JunkyardJake.com would like to bestow upon the overall winner a Mike Ditka 92-0 T shirt
10 - FFGuidebook is offering a copy of "Fantasy Football Guidebook: Your Comprehensive Guide to Playing Fantasy Football" to any Joe that wins their Division. Also, they are offering a copy of "Fantasy Football Tips: 201 Ways to Win through Player Rankings, Cheat Sheets and Better Drafting" to any Joe (that blows) and comes in last in their division.
11 - MockDraftCentral is giving an Official Draft Shirt to every division winner.
12 - And courtesy of Dave and Alex of the FFPC, we have this incentive - FFPC Pros vs. Joes Clean Sweep Bonus:
If either the Pros side or the Joes side win all 6 leagues (winner means having top scoring team in each league after 16 weeks), the FFPC will award $150 FFPC dollars per team (which can be applied towards any future FFPC leagues or contests) to the following:
The 6 league winners AND the other 30 owners on that team's side, either Joes or Pros.
That is correct, if either side gets a clean sweep, ALL 36 PLAYERS on that team get $150 towards future FFPC leagues. However, if one side wins 3 leagues and the other wins 2, no one gets anything. Hence the word "bonus". Retail value is $4500.
How much does it cost to enter? Nothing. This is a friendly competition that gives FFPCers a chance to hone their drafting skills against some of the proverbial 'Experts' of fantasy football. For the experts, they get a unique event to write about providing content for their sites. In the process of doing this, they are spreading the the word and increasing exposure of the FFPC.
A FAQ has been put together which captures most of the details regarding this event.
